In October we met for a Ghost Tour given by an old friend Mike. For $20 we were walked up and down Main Street given the scoop on who's haunting whom. As he was also a magician known to us, we could only wonder at the ghostly moving keys, compass, green glowing statues and more. Good storytelling and an enthusiastic group of people made for a great evening. Late we ate a small Italian resturant on Main accross from the spot we started the tour. Because Jeanne wasn't able to join us, I asked another friend Millie along, wearing pink in the above picture.

The Canoe in September

The Canoe was our fourth night out, having no camera for our third which was in August. September was warm with mosquitos so we wound up inside from the patio outdoors. The waiter became slower to almost non-existant and I wound up cancelling a drink order deciding to leave after fifteen minutes.

Another cute duo of Ann and Ellen

Punnee was an original GNO'er but dropped out by the third evening. She is between Sherry in the background and Jeanne on the right.
This is our second group picture in September. For some reason no one brought a camera to our August GNO. We are Ellen, Ann,Cheryl,Jeanne,Sherry and myself, Marie.
Food was pretty good, desserts were awesome, service later on was slow. Since this night, the Canoe has changed hands again or so we were told.

Our RH meeting when we decided to get together more often
Second meeting in July, Ellen's birthday on second street. It had poured rain but was over by the time we left. Food was good, but a little high priced for the atmosphere.

Ellen and Ann who have been friends longer than we have. We didn't learn it was also Ann's birthday month until later.

Girlfriends Night Out

In June of 2007 at a Red Hat Wine Trip, we were sitting at a table commenting on how muchwe enjoyed each other's company. Most of us have known each other for at least three years, a few of us much longer. We were talking about getting together more often, just the seven of us. after the first two meetings we were only six, a nice number to seat at a table and even travel together.
