Ann's tea in June

Ann's home is amazingly charming and elegant and still retains the warmth of country antiques. She makes a comfortable living caring for children and her home expresses her love for them with so many pretty areas disigned just for little ones.
After our luncheon and divine cheese cake, we had our fortunes told before relaxing in the outdoor room, enjoying Ann's good taste and style.

Jeanne surprised us with a visit from her twin sister Janet. They do look so much alike but we were ablet o tell them apart inspite of their being dressed alike.
Ellen's strawberry and spinach salad would have been a meal in itself, so beautiful in it's matching bowl.
When you go to Ellen's you feel so at home. It may not be everyone's idea of decor but it certainly is mine. Funny that so many of us have the same exact taste.

Ellen's Tea in February

Ellen, extroadinary seamstress, cook and decorator, enchanted us with her culinary feats and lovely home. She is generous, enthusiastic, and bubbles over when she talks.
She does all her own sewing, at home and clothing and works a full ten to twelve hour day with other people's children besides. Her energy and talents are truly amazing.

February Birthdays at Concetta's on 5th Str.

February is both mine and Sherry's birth month, celebrated at Concettas I was not impressed but it was okay. Sherry said she felt sick the next day and thought it might be from something she ate. I usually can tell if the meal is going to be great by the freshness and variety of the salad. If it's plain iceburg lettuce, the meal is usually not very exciting either.
Ellen, sweet thing sent beautiful pink tulips to my house for my birthday. I was so surprised and I took a picture to show her how beautiful they were.

January at Tony's on Main

Tony's Steak House has the best steak I've ever eaten! It was perfect. We all enjoyed this meal. Time to wind down from all the Christmas and relatives and clean up. Just relaxing with friends is the bets remedy for January blues

Here we are getting chummy with the horse that pulled our coach. and the Revoluntionary Santa circa 1863 after the ride. We also shopped a little before going home. Great night out!

After we ate we waited in line for a carraige ride on Main Street. Everything was beautifully lit with Christmas lights and although it was cold and windy, it was exciting enough to keep us warm.
